OWH World Cardmaking Day Card Hop

Thanks for joining the OWH Blog Hop today. This organization is near and dear to my heart because my birth father was a Korean Vet and we had family at the Pentagon on 9-11. Thank you to the families and members of the armed forces for the sacrifices you have made for our Country.

Supplies:
Paper and Cardstock: Best Creations Merry Christmas
Lace: Micheal's
Flower Soft: Poppy Red, Christmas Green
Embellishments: Hero Arts Red and Green Gemstones, Yellow Gemstones
Adhesives: Ranger Glossy Accents, Glue Glider Pro, EK Success Foam tape
Copics: R59, R46, R20,Y28, G28, E11, E34, E33, E81, W3
Stamp: Whiff of Joy Angel Delivering the Christmas Tree

Tip: I colored the Christmas Tree for the bottom layer. On the second layer I cut the tree out and colored it. I then applied the red gemstone. I attached the tree to the angel with foam tape. I used Glossy Accents on the tree and then applied the Christmas Green Flower Soft. I then used Flower Soft Red Poppy for the flower.
I have blog candy for the hop:) You can win a Hero Arts Merry Christmas Trees Stamp Set:

To win the candy please leave a comment by October 3! Following my blog will get you an extra entry but it is not necessary to win.

Have fun making cards today!

  47. HI Elizabeth, I love the look of this card. The way the papers are layered it really makes it kind of look like a fabric card, :) YOu had visited my blog and asked what embossing folder I used on my Christmas tree card. I used the "Snow Burst" textured embossing folder from Stampin' UP! (I am an SU demo, :))
