Lasting Memories- Special Celebrations

"Let's Celebrate, Celebrate, Dance to the Music! " Ok so the song was going through my head the entire time while I was working on this layout. LOL The week it's special celebrations at Lasting Memories, so it is time to celebrate!

My celebration is my parents' wedding. This photo is extra special to me because it is one of 5 of my birth father. He drowned when I was 4 weeks old and my mother destroyed everything else in her grief. So needless to say I treasure this photo.

Tip: Since this is a vintage photo and rare, I decided to use clear photo corners so that the photo could be removed in the future.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill Black Orange peel, DCWV
Ribbon: Hobby Lobby

Challenges:
Hiding  In My Craft Room: Anything Goes
Totally Paper Crafts: June Bride

Looking forward to seeing your celebrations!

Lasting Memories-Old Fashioned Photos

Happy Easter! Enjoy your time with your families!

I have a confession to make. My kids think I am "old fashioned". And they love the 70's, which were my teen years. They think the 70's were "old school." Excuse me, but that was just yesterday! LOL

So when the challenge at Lasting Memories this week called for old fashioned pictures I figured a picture from when I was in first grade (1967) was fair game.
