Lasting Memories #84-"We're Hopping into Spring"

What a beautiful day, although quite windy and there are advisories out. However there are hundreds of birds outside my window as I type this. Our cats have two bird feeders. (Yes, I said our cats, lol.) They love to sit in the window and watch the birds. And the birds have become so comfortable that they come up and sit on the window sill and talk to the cats! LOL

As the birds welcome Spring, we are at Lasting Memories also!! Our theme is "We're Hopping into Spring."  We're "Hopping Into Spring!!!" My layout is a little different approach to Spring I will admit. But Scott was born in the South and he has always been fascinated with swamp life. So I thought it would be fun in honor of his heritage to do a Spring Swamp page. And the cat behind his head was part Ocelot (I kid you not. Sometime I will tell you that story.) So that's why the cat is up on the corner of the photo mat:)

Supplies I used on this one were from my stash. I mostly used thick mulberry paper. The embellishments are all mine, except for the drangonfly which I think is Jolee's.  I did use some Hero Arts gems and Prima flowers. I used glitter paper for the alligator's teeth and belly but they don't show up in the photo.
