Masculine Birthday Card and Blog Candy

My boys celebrate their birthdays this month and I have blog candy to celebrate! (Later in the blog.)

I have been busy cleaning house for the grandparents visit, getting birthday cards done and helping Scott get a job. All this while dealing with my painful eyes-which are getting better, but still have a long ways to go. And we are still fighting the insurance company on the chemo...sigh.

On top of it all the spring broke on the garage door opener. My driveway is too slanted
for me to be able to get in and out of the SUV if I park there. And the driveway is too short for a car to park without ending up on the sidewalk. (Don't start me on contractors who violate codes and get away with it.)  Because of Association rules I can't park in the street. So the garage had to be fixed ASAP. Ugh!

As a result of life happens I have been neglectful of the blog. I do apologize.

On the positive,Scott started his new job today! Let's all shout with joy! It's was supposed to be 3 months part-time but if he got a good evaluation it would become full-time with benefits. However Mr. Positive Attitude went in to work today and came home starting full time immediately! What an answer to prayer! It's been a long 6 months of unemployment. The good news is though he has matured by years over those 6 months and seems to be much more appreciative of how hard it is to find a good job.

 What a relief! It's been a long 6 months. It's going to take some adjustment though. We had to get up at 5am today, lol. There was a huge discussion on the way to work that Scott was going to have to tell his friends good-bye at 9 pm. Coming in at the wee hours of the morning have come to an end. Thank goodness. My lecturing was have no effect! LOL
