Life is Filled with Simple Pleasures

Don't forget to leave a comment for the Copic Marker Blog Candy!

One of the things I enjoy most about scrapbooking is the fact that I have made friends literally around the world. One of my scrapbooking friends lives in Missouri and a couple of times a year we get together and scrapbook for the weekend. She has a daughter that is the same age as my youngest son and one time the two of them went to Homecoming together. At the end of the weekend we all went to one of James Baseball games. While at the game Becky and Scott walked over to the park, which is where the pictures were taken.

Becky is graduating, so I decided to make her a framed layout with an inspirational message as a gift. And I decided it was time to try out doing a challenge.

Embellish is sponsoring a Tag Challenge using this graphic as the inspiration:

And Here is my layout:

This is an old Bo Bunny Flourish Stamp that I have never used. It was fun getting it out:) It is stamped in Brilliance and embossed with Stamping Up Silver embossing Powder. I used Bazzill Clear gemstones for added bling.

Quote: Life is filled with simple Pleasures...savor them!
Bo Bunny Flourish Stamp

These are all Bazzill Clear Crystals-the colors are light reflections.
I first embossed the stamped image and then added the cyrstals.

Supplies:

Paper:  Leisure Arts Memories in the Making Collection (I've had this for a while!!! I am really into using up what I have!), Hero Arts Powder Blue Layering Paper, Navy Blue Cardstock (Won this as Blog Candy),

Stamps: Bo Bunny Flourish Stamp Set ( I have had this in my stash for ages and never used it. What was I thinking!!! I love this set!)

Embossing Powder: Stampin' Up Silver

Ink: Tsukenio Platinum Planet Brillance Ink Pad
