Welcome to our first hop of 2012 at Lasting Memories!! If you've come fromMichele then you're on the right track! If not, just click HERE to start at Lasting Memories and you'll also find all the details of the hop there! Please be sure to read through because this week we have a lot going on! We're being sponsored by Digi Darla which is PERFECT since this weeks challenge is "DIGITAL"!!
For my layout today, I used Digi Darla's "Birdhouse Flowerpot"
I made two copies of the digital image. I cut out elements on one image and added some foam tape to given some "pop" to the image. I did try to add some Stickles, but the image bled. I have an inkjet printer and I think that was the problem.
Supplies:
Digital Image: Digi Darla Birdhouse Flowerpot
Colored Pencils: Prismaacolor Premier
Butterfly: K & Co Watercolor Bouquet Butterflies
Paper: The Girls Paperie Paper Girl, scrap
Adhesive: Glue Glider Pro, EK Success Foam Strips
Ribbon on Flower Pot: Micheal's
Ink: Jet Black Stazon
Stamp: The Girls Paperie Vintage Whimsy
And what's a hop without some Blog Candy? And if we are going digital it only makes sense to add some COPIC blog candy right? I accidentally ordered some extra Copic Caios so I am giving them away. Just leave a comment and get an extra entry for becoming a follower and or posting the candy on your blog.(Leave an extra comment to let me know what you did:)

Elizabeth, this is beautiful -- I love how you keep your layouts very focused... Everything always looks so well put together!! :) I also love how you popped up a few of the elements of your digi -- SO fun!! I have an inkjet printer too -- I found that printing my digis out at least a day before I color them or heat-setting them (with an iron or heat gun) REALLY helps to keep them from bleeding -- I hope that tip helps you, I know how frustrating it is to have an image smudge!! :) AWESOME candy, Elizabeth!! That's so generous!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your Digital talent at Lasting Memories this week!! It was so fun hopping with you!! :)
