Lasting Memories Challenge #80 -Pawsitively Sweet and Blog Candy Winner

This week at Lasting Memories it is “Pawsitively Sweet!”- Show off your pets, zoo or animal pics!! We have cats as pets in our family. My layout is actually some of the cats we have had over time. The one in the sink is Dustbunny and she has a very special story to tell.

Dustbunny was born on a farm. She was the runt of the litter. Her mother died in childbirth. She was so small, she looked like a "dustbunny" with tiny eyes, thus her name. Dustbunny is now about 7 years old. She still acts as if I am her mother and cuddles and kneads on me whenever she gets a chance. But she also has a very unique skill. She knows when my blood sugar is low and will wake me in the middle of the night to get up and eat. (I have diabetes.) And she found my parathyroid and thyroid tumors before the doctors. She was constantly licking the very spot they were in! And she stopped after they were removed. So needless to say she and I are a forever item.
This week I did a 2 page layout. Page 1:
                            Trouble is our Game

Supplies: Mainly Stash this week, I was in the mood to clear out stuff, so I have an excuse to buy more with my tax refund! LOL
The background is a transparency I had in my stash over Bazzil Handsome. The three layer mats are sewn. I know the paper is DCWV but I don't which pad. The ribbon is stash. The Coke bottle is stash, I really wanted a Diet Coke, but couldn't find one anywhere.

The cats are my design made out of mulberry paper.

The fish bowl is from a Sizzix Fish Bowl die. The "stones" on the bottom of the bowl are ade with seed beads I had in my stash. Don't they look real? I used the acetate from a the packaging of a Sizzix embossing folder for the bowl itself.

The lace on the table was also a piece of scrap. I bought the beads with the letters in the title from Hobby Lobby.

We also have an "optional" sketch this week. A special Thanks to

And this week the challenge prize is sponsored by my designteam sister Kimberly. An awesome Cricut Cartridge!

And I apologize, life has been a bit of challenge the last couple of weeks and I forgot to draw the blog candy. So according to random number
