Lasting Memories-2013 Resolutions

Oh the irony of it all! This week the Lasting Memories  Challenge is to do a layout about our 2013 resolutions. And mine is to organize my crafting. And I have been doing well up until the last couple of weeks. And then chaos broke loose and I am still playing catch-up. And then the Behcet.s kicked in and I got confused as to what week it was in February. So I did next week's challenge instead of this week's challenge. The good news is I have next week's ready, I am just waiting for the weather to co-operate for photos:)

So I apologize for this being late. And how ironic that my goal is to "organize " my craft time. And honestly up until two weeks ago it was working. I just need to get back into the swing of things. So it's a new week....let's see what can happen.

supplies:
Paper and Cardstock: Tim Holtz Kraft Resist, Tim Hotz Paper Stash
Ink and Markers: Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Software: My Memories
Website: wwwpicmonkey.com
Flower: Daisy D's (out of business)
Embellishments: Flower Soft and Tim Holtz
Doily: Stash
Alphabet: Stash ( a great way to use up leftover letters)
Stamp: Lawn Fawn Quinn's Numbers
Adhesives: Ek Success Foam, Tombow Clear Tabs, ATG Pink

Tip: The flower's center was made by putting down a glob of Glossy accents. I then mixed Flower Soft Earth (2/3) and Strawberry (1/3)

This layout is waaaay out of my comfort zone. First I used My Memories to make the journaling box into an aged photo:

My 2013 Resolution is to organize my crafting time. I found myself in a panic last November because I didn't have Christmas presents done. So my hope is that by following this schedule I can have a more relaxed holiday this year:)

So here's the schedule that I am following:

Sunday: Clean and organize the Scrapbook Room and supplies. This layout is the result of that. I found all of this leftover Tim Holtz stuff I had bought for Chemistry 101.  In general I found myself using the stuff for masculine cards-but never thought about using it for scrapbooking.

Monday: Layouts and Lasting Memories Challenges

Tuesday: Learn a new digital skill, Digital Layouts, and Digitally Sweet Challenges. Putting a day aside just for digital has already increased my comfort level and this layout is a result of learning some photo editing skills.

Wednesday: Papercraft Gifts -I already have one gift done:)

Thursday: Cards

Friday: Catch up on classes that I have not finished. Oh is that list long!!!!

Saturday: Layouts and Blogland

The end of the year will tell the final story. But I am hopeful:)

Challenges:
ScrapMuch? Sketch  I rotated the sketch

Have a wonderful week! And once again I apologize for this being late:(
