Lasting Memories Challenge- Leather and Lace

Wow has this week flown by! It' time for a new challenge. And I have to admit a layout using leather and lace is a challenge when you have boys. So I decided to do two layouts! One using leather and the other using lace!

My first layout may not look like leather but it is! The orange paper actually feels like basketball leather! It is really COOL paper according to Scott.  The photos were taken  at Cooters in Gatlinburg, TN

Journal: The original Dukes of Hazard were on TV when I was a teenager. Later there was a movie made when the boys were younger. The store where this was located was "Cooters" owned by the gentleman who played Cooter in the original show.

Supplies: All from my stash. The leather paper is about 7 years old!

The second layout photo did not turn out well due to the weather- sorry.  On top of it all the Bechets is causing ti to be difficult to hold the camera steady-so that's why it appears to be crooked-it's not really. This is a layout that was done for a friend, that's why there are no photos.

I made the baby bear scale embellishment using scraps. The paper is about 10 years old. The ribbon was purchased at Hobby Lobby about 4 years ago. Ok so I am on a mission to get my paper used up! LOL

Looking forward to seeing your leather and lace!
