We wish you a Merry Christmas, We Wish you a Merry Christmas....... When I worked at Cedar Point Amusement Part back in the 80's one of the activities the park planned for the employees was Christmas in July. We decorated our dorms and apartments with Christmas decorations-no small feat in the middle of Summer Vacation Land on Lake Erie, LOL. But boy did we have fun! We also exchanged Christmas White Elephant presents. You can just imagine the gifts that would show up between college students. I received Ohio State Buckeye Toilet paper because I was attending University of Michigan, LOL.
Well this week at Lasting Memories you get to celebrate Christmas in July with us! We want to see your Christmas Layouts. Get them done now before another Christmas season is upon us!
Mine is of James at last Christmas. Notice that his dog Percy thinks that he should be helping! And James is just thrilled to be getting a bed comforter for his college apartment, LOL. Oh the joys of spontaneous photo taking!
I challenged myself on this one to take some girly Webster's Pages paper and make a masculine layout. I love their stuff, but rarely can I use it with two boys.) I used chipboard pieces from my stash to cover up the girly flowers. I also fussy cut a house out of another sheet and then used stickles on it. I used pieces of foam tape up front and glue dots in the back to make the house appear to be coming out of the paper.
