You Fill My Days with Rainbows-Simon Says March 2014 Card Kit

To say I loved the Simon Says March Card Kit is an understatement. I loved the crayon rubber stamp. Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine 6x6 Paper Pad makes me drool! This is a great kit. And I have done several cards that will be featured in future posts.

There is a rainbow stencil in the kit. Despite using masking tape to hold it down, I found it still wanted to slip between the layers of the rainbow when I used a sponge dauber. I tried a Q-tip and it worked wonderful giving a kind of "edginess" to the layer of the rainbow. I then cut out the rainbow leaving a white edge to help separate from the background paper. I added some sequins from the kit and a Hero Arts Red Pearl Heart.

Inks: Hero Arts Red Royal,  Hero Arts Orange Soda, Hero Arts Lemon Yellow, Hero Arts Grass, Hero Arts Neon Blue
Love this kit!
