Scuba Boys Layout
Every other month I look forward to Inspired to Scrap's Weekend Warrior Online Scrapping Crop. Stacey has the most AWESOME sketches. They are chock full of photos, use lots of layers which helps me put a dent in my stash. And often I am able to use stuff that is several years old in a fresh approach. I love it!
While I can't show you her sketch, I can tell you that next week on Lasting Memories you will get to try one of her sketches (and next month too). You will also have a chance to win a place in her next class. Be sure to check it out:)
My layout is photos of our trip to Branson, MO a few years ago. It was at Ripley's Believe It Or Not. At the time Scott was so excited because he planned to be an Underwater Welder. Unfortunately due to his noncompaction of the left ventricle (A rare genetic heart condition that will cause him to have instantaneous heart failure and death. It has no cure.) he can no longer be an underwater welder. But he loves his welding job at the local steel mill.
Scott had to hold the helmet on Jeff's head because it was too heavy for his little body! LOL
The paper I used for this layout is a Lato and Momem Summer at the Seaside set I won a couple of years ago. The manufacturer Scrapcake is a Poland company but I can't seem to find anywhere. I loved having some international paper to use because I like having something different.
I cut the octopus out of one of the sheets and used clear foam tape to give some dimension. I added the tiny google eyes, The washi tape was from my stash. The Teal paper is Bazzill's Dotted Swiss pack.
Challenges:
Clear It Out Challenge: Color Challenge: Your Favorite Ice Cream and Use Your Stash I love Blue Raspeberry Ice Cream and Lime Sherbert. I won the paper a couple of years ago. Scrapcake (Poland) does not appear to be in business any longer. So sad.
Shopping Our Stash: Color My World: Use Your favorite Color. Teal is my favorite scrapbooking color. I love all of the variations of it:)
Have a wonderful day!

Super cute layout and I love the arrows going around the corners to point the direction back to the pictures. Thank you so much for the nice comments you left at my blog. I wanted to let you know no skill involved I have a really good camera :) Sony it seems to make a difference on how my pictures look.
