Wedding Card

I have been pushing myself to try new things in papercrafting. One of them is to get involved in the scrapbooking and card making world.  So today I decided to try doing Hero Arts 90 minute Challenge. The theme was the Royal Wedding, using a Hero Arts Stamp and red, white and blue.

Ok this was a major hoot! First of all not colors I would normally use for a wedding card. Second I am just learning how to use Flicker, so having time to load the card was a challenge. Next you need to see what I did to my scrapbooking room! I need to get this cleaned before my kids see it or I will never hear the end of it! LOL

Ok, so I need to work on organization skills in those 90 minutes! Oh my! LOL

So this mess produced this:
Cosmo Cricket Deck the Hollies, Hero Arts Cl268 Warmest Wedding Wishes, Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circle Large, Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs

The Hero Arts Sentiment says: May each day of your new life together be full of love.

And that is my wish for each and everyone of you. May your day be filled with love!

And now to clean up my mess!

Elizabeth

  1. Very pretty Elizabeth!

I'm laughing at your craft room, mostly because mine looked about the same today! I had to stop and clean up this afternoon 'cause it got to the point I couldn't find anything in the mess! LOL

Also, thanks very much for the award!!!!!

  3. Esther,
I am still cleaning! "Life happens" got in the way. I may have to do a blog on opening up for suggestions on how to stay organized when doing a 90 minute challenge! LOL

  4. Absolutley fabulous! though the colors are not typical, they look great and the flowers, doily and ribbon really bring it all together.(is the sentiment embossed? Looks great)

LOL to your craft room. It shows that you are a creative person! Mine does not look much different after making something new to me.
    hugs

  5. Hi Sandy,

Makes me feel so much better that yours looks similar. LOL Usually I put stuff away as I go, but with only 90 minutes time flies! And I am still cleaning! Why is it when you cean a scrapbook room you always find something else that needs cleaned?

  6. Your card turned out beautiful!! Isn't is funny how messy our space can get just making a lil 'ol card?! Even though I consider my space organized, I am definitely a messy scrapper! glad to see I'm not the only one! ;) Haha
