Child Birthday Layout

Creative Accent Challenges  challenge this month is to create any project you like, which is pretty much an 'anything goes' type of theme! They would love to see you scrapbook an older photo or use that fabulous stamp or paper you bought a while back... it's probably feeling neglected just waiting to be put to creative use ;) So, give your stash some love this month!

So what better way than to use a birthday picture of James at the age of 4 and the boy is now a freshman at Purdue? LOL And I have paper and embellishments on this layout that are at least 5 years old! No new purchases were made. It's all from my stash!

Tip: I made the giraffe's mane using eyelash yarn. Love that stuff! It's about 3 years old though, so I don't know if you can still buy it. I bought a skein and use it for horse's manes also.

Supplies:
Paper and Cardstock: The striped paper has Garfield on it. I bought it when our LSS went out of business about 4 years ago. Thick Mulberry Paper was used to make the giraffe and the tear bear, which is about 3 years old. And the rest of the paper is from my stash but I  have no idea on the manufacturers. I truly stayed with the theme of "older stash" LOL.

Embellishments: Dress It Up Embellishments, Brads (stash from the old LSS). Sequin ribbon for the big top-Joanne's. Orange ribbon and star ribbon are also from Joann's years ago.

Ranger Stickles: Lavender, Orange Peel

Have a day filled with celebrations!
