Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop

Welcome to Operation Write Home's Memorial Day Blog Hop! I am so excited to participating for my second year in a row! I am keeping this short, so that you can hop to several more blogs:)

My card for today is:
Tip: I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink to make it look like Chocolate Cake Batter around the edges. ( My recipe cards are always a mess, lol.)

The Inside of the card:
The cake is a honeycomb popup:) It meets OWH requirements when it is folded down:)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versa Mark, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink

    I just found the honeycomb paper and used in in our Inspired Stamps post for this bloghop too!! I am going to have to try it with a cake now! Great card!

  21. Terrific card and that pop-up cake is such a great element! It doesn't take up hardly any room, yet it is really a neat surprise. I like the "chocolate" on the image panel too, it really looks like a well loved recipe card would.
