Having a child with ADHD is a real challenge especially if you are trying to cover 350 miles in one day. When sleep finally hits, it is nothing but a relief. This photo was taken on our return trip from Branson, Missouri.

Glitter Tape: American Crafts (I added the white road marks with a Uniball White Gel Pen)
Jute: American Crafts
Adhesive: Micro Glue Dots
Tip: A cheap way of getting buttons is to watch Ebay for estate lots of buttons. I bought a cookie tin full of antique buttons for less than $6.00 and that was including shipping.

350 miles with ANY child is taxing, much less an ADHD kiddo!! Glad to see you posting and hopefully feeling a bit better?? Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and thanks for the estate sale tip...I didn;t know they listed those on ebay!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tina, yes I am feeling a little better. I am still struggling at times, but trying to work with the arthritis and the Behcets instead of against it. Thanks for the prayers.

Vacations are so hard because they get so bored so quickly and the ride is the worst. :) However, one way or another we still make it.
