Thinking of You Card

Madison is a 16 year old on a mission. Her blog Funky Cards is filled with awesome talent. And she is only 16 years old! But even more amazing is that she has started a project I Feel the Love to honor a different person each with a shower of cards. This month a high school English teacher battling cancer, Ms. Jill Pentoney, will be the recipient. Jill was first diagnosed with fallopian tube cancer in December of 2008. Unfortunately the cancer came back in 2010. This cancer is so rare it represents less than 1-2 percent of all gynecological cancers. You can read about Jill's journey on her blog Kicking Cancer's Butt Round Two.

This card is what I will be sending. Unfortunately the lighting did not pick up the iridescent butterflies instead it turned them brown. This card is much prettier in person!
And for whatever reason the picture makes the ribbon looks slanted but it isn't...must be technology gremlin day....sigh..

This is another project where I just used scraps, so unfortunately I can not give you a list of supplies. I added adhesive pearls for the body of the of the butterflies.

Be sure to check out Madison's blog and give her a hand in spreading the word on her worthy project.
Thanks for stopping by!
