Digitally Sweet Challenge-Use Hearts and Flowers

Welcome back! This week at Digitally Sweet Challenges we are celebrating with hearts and flowers. And we are sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs! One lucky winner will receive a $10 gift certificate.

I know, I know there are no flowers on my Valentine Card, but this is for one of my sons  and he would have a fit if I used flowers, LOL.

I first colored the Cedar Chest Designs Penguin with Heart Strings with Copics: 100, RV02, BG45, R17, BG49, Y17, C1, YR16, RV04

I then scanned in the image.  I used My Memories Suite to design the card. To get the penguin to look like he is set into the card I choose a scalloped circle shape and chose photo to place him.

The background and scallop papers are Cedar Chest Design' Valentine Love Set Papers. I just adore the heart paper!

I can't wait to see your hearts and flowers!

The hearts were all cut with Cricut George and Basic Shapes and the" friend" was cut with Cricut Cursive 101 after welding it in the Circut-Craft Room. Cricut-Craft Room is new and a free service. I love it so much more than Design Studio. I haven't head a single issue with Cricut-Craft Room.

Love Card

On occasion I like to buy Mystery Lot Boxes on EBay. You never know what you will find in there:) And I love the challenge of putting everything to good use. The bad part is that I can't tell you where to get the supplies, but hopefully it will inspire someone. I had the pink heart paper in my scraps so I covered a Hero Arts Folded Card with it. I then popped the tag on the card using Zots.

Have a day with love:)
